This is what frightens me about Evangelicals and Bible literalists

John Hagee is the founder of the Christian Zionist group, Christians United for Israel. He is the senior pastor of Cornerstone Church an evangelical church in San Antonio, Texas. He is also the author of a number of books; his most recent is Jerusalem Countdown: A Warning to the World.

of Patrick Henry College which opened September 20, 2000.

This also scares me. It isn't good enough to go to Harvard, Yale or any other host of Ivy Legue schools to get into politics? Note: that this school was opened within the first year of George junior's presidency and it's stated goal is to fill Washington with Christian Politicians. And I always thought we have had Christian politicians in Washington all along!!! No the real goal here is to put conservative Christians in public office.

If you are a liberal or moderate Christian then I think you may be in as bad of a pickle as me if the divide between church and state is crossed. That is what happened in England and why those pilgrims set sail in the Mayflower and landed at Plymouth. Then; the head of state was also the head of the Church of England and is to this day. Do you want George W. Bush to be at the head of the Official Church of the United States of America? It's ludicrous and don't tell me it's not. So here I plead with all moderate and liberal Christians to NOT stand by while conservatives hi-jack your religion and our democracy. There is a reason for the seperation of church and state and that reason is there shouldn't have to be anymore Mayflower pilgrims fleeing persecution. Take hold of your beliefs and stand up to the Right-wing machine!!!

If you read the second link you probably understand that those religious leaders do indeed see first hand the affects of Christian Zionism; which emanates from the United States and its foreign policy in the Middle East

I must also say that John Haggee's vision does not stop with him. This idealogy reaches all the way into the White House and it needs to stop!
