Evangelism

Persuading your fellow human being to "know" god and accept the gospel as truth.
What gospel? Who's gospel?

Whatever...

In essence some people may genuinely be concerned about dying, as they probably should be. We all are. Religion is about the afterlife. That mysterious netherworld that EVERYBODY seeks to explain, yet never can hit the nail on the head.

Oh, yes...faith, I forget. When you have faith you have hit that particular nail dead center. No ifs, ands or buts. Here lies the root of the atheist dilemma. Not, the particular and specific argument of whether a god exists or not, but tackling that elusive "barrier": belief and non-belief.

Essentially it comes down to one very simple question. Who's right?

Who in their right mind has the very simple answer? Too many people think they do. If you don't agree (be you a believer or not) then invariably you are wrong. Never mind that a great many people are pacifist believers (they are the sheep), but take into consideration the dynamic believer. Just for a second. These are the people who lay down the law. They interpret "gods" law for the masses, however benign they may seem. Is it benign? Not according to me, personally.

Yeah, yeah. I have spouted on and on about being relegated to the dung-heap of society for not "going with the flow" so to speak. But am I being paranoid? I think not.

It's a social issue and should be handled as such. It seems religion invades almost every aspects of our lives within that social spectrum. Need it be political? Think about it. Political...policy...rules...laws...however jaded such policies and rules seem, they do NOT represent all of us. I guess this is where I say I am for the republic. Minority represented in government.

That's enough for now. Later.
